Websupport MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Websupport MCP server. Connect your Websupport account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Websupport domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Websupport domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Websupport?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Websupport domains this week?”

Connect Websupport to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Websupport, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Websupport accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Websupport

Give it the least access you can

Websupport API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a Standard key can manage the whole account. Create a key just for Lemon Domains so you can delete it on its own. Lemon Domains only ever reads the service list.

  1. 1Sign in to Websupport WebAdmin and open Security → API keys.
  2. 2Generate a new Standard API key (a DynDNS key only updates records) and name it “Lemon Domains”.
  3. 3Copy the identifier and the secret. The secret is only shown once.

Open Websupport API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Websupport.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Websupport personal” or “Websupport clients”. Connect each Websupport account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key (identifier) and secret.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Websupport: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Websupport rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Websupport account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Websupport portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Websupport credentials at all.

Open your Websupport WebAdmin

  1. 1Open your Websupport account at websupport.sk and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Websupport domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Websupport offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Websupport personal" or "Websupport client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
