Active24 MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Active24 MCP server. Connect your Active24 account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Active24 domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Active24 domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Active24?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Active24 domains this week?”

Connect Active24 to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Active24, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Active24 accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Active24

Give it the least access you can

Active24 API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a Standard key can manage the whole account. Create a key just for Lemon Domains so you can delete it on its own. Lemon Domains only ever reads the service list.

  1. 1Sign in to the Active24 customer administration and open the REST API keys page in your account settings.
  2. 2Generate a new Standard API key (a DynDNS key only updates records) and name it “Lemon Domains”.
  3. 3Copy the identifier and the secret. The secret is only shown once.

Open Active24 API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Active24.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Active24 personal” or “Active24 clients”. Connect each Active24 account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key (identifier) and secret.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Active24: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Active24 rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Active24 account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Active24 portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Active24 credentials at all.

Open your Active24 administration

  1. 1Open your Active24 account at active24.cz and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Active24 domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Active24 offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Active24 personal" or "Active24 client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
