WEDOS MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial WEDOS MCP server. Connect your WEDOS account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your WEDOS domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my WEDOS domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at WEDOS?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my WEDOS domains this week?”

Transferring a domain away from WEDOS
In the customer administration, open Domains, select the domain and send the authorization password (AUTH-ID) from its section. It is emailed to the domain owner only.
Give the code to the new registrar to start the transfer. Most extensions can't move within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer. WEDOS's guide

Connect WEDOS to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at WEDOS, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many WEDOS accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at WEDOS
WAPI has one password per customer account, limited to the IP addresses you allow. Lemon Domains only ever sends the domains-list command.
Any WEDOS customer can activate WAPI in the customer administration.
- 1Sign in to the WEDOS customer administration and open My account → WAPI interface.
- 2Activate WAPI (or edit it if it is already on) and set a WAPI password.
- 3Add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page to the allowed IP addresses and save.
- 4Enter your WEDOS login and the WAPI password in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose WEDOS.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “WEDOS personal” or “WEDOS clients”. Connect each WEDOS account separately.
- 3Paste your wapi login and wapi password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to WEDOS: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- WEDOS rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- WEDOS rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs at WEDOS.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the WEDOS account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the WEDOS portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no WEDOS credentials at all.
Open your WEDOS customer administration
- 1Open your WEDOS account at wedos.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every WEDOS domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if WEDOS offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "WEDOS personal" or "WEDOS client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
