Connect Subreg.cz to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at Subreg.cz, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Subreg.cz accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at Subreg.cz
Subreg API logins use the account's own login and password, and only work from the IP addresses you allow in the API settings. Lemon Domains only ever calls Login and Domains_List.
- 1Sign in to Subreg.cz and open the API settings of your account.
- 2Add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page to the allowed IP addresses and save. Subreg only accepts API logins from allowed addresses.
- 3Enter your Subreg login and the password it uses for API access.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Subreg.cz.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Subreg.cz personal” or “Subreg.cz clients”. Connect each Subreg.cz account separately.
- 3Paste your login and password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Subreg.cz: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Subreg.cz rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- Subreg.cz rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs at Subreg.cz.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the Subreg.cz account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Subreg.cz portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Subreg.cz credentials at all.
- 1Open your Subreg.cz account at subreg.cz and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Subreg.cz domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Subreg.cz offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Subreg.cz personal" or "Subreg.cz client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
