Sav MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Sav MCP server. Connect your Sav account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Sav domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Sav domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Sav?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Sav domains this week?”

Connect Sav.com to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Sav.com, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Sav.com accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Sav.com

Give it the least access you can

Sav API keys are not scoped, and each key only works from the IP addresses Sav whitelisted for it. Lemon Domains only ever calls get_active_domains_in_account, which lists your domains.

Who can use the API

Sav issues API keys through its support team for any account holder who asks.

  1. 1Sign in to Sav and open a support ticket asking for API access.
  2. 2In the ticket, ask Sav to whitelist the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page, and include your account email and the last four digits of your payment card (or your PayPal email) so Sav can verify you.
  3. 3Sav support replies with your API key. Paste it in Lemon Domains.

Open Sav.com API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Sav.com.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Sav.com personal” or “Sav.com clients”. Connect each Sav.com account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
  • Nameservers
  • WHOIS privacy
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Sav.com: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Sav.com rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
Sav.com rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at Sav.com.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Sav.com account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Sav.com portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Sav.com credentials at all.

Open your Sav.com domain list

  1. 1Open your Sav.com account at sav.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Sav.com domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Sav.com offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Sav.com personal" or "Sav.com client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.

How do I get a Sav.com API key?

Sign in to Sav and open a support ticket asking for API access. In the ticket, ask Sav to whitelist the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page, and include your account email and the last four digits of your payment card (or your PayPal email) so Sav can verify you. Do I need to share my Sav.com password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Sav.com, not your password. Sav API keys are not scoped, and each key only works from the IP addresses Sav whitelisted for it. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Sav.com domains?
