Atom

Founder Darpan Munjal started it as a side project to crowdsource brand names through naming contests, and it grew into a marketplace of brandable domains with naming, logo and trademark services.

Atom MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Atom MCP server. Connect your Atom account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Atom domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Atom domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Atom?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Atom domains this week?”

Connect Atom to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Atom, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Atom accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Atom

Give it the least access you can

Atom tokens can't be limited to read-only. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain list, and you can revoke the token in Atom at any time.

Who can use the API

Atom turns on Registrar API access for an account on request.

  1. 1Sign in to Atom and open Dashboard → API access.
  2. 2Request Registrar API access if it isn't turned on for your account yet.
  3. 3Once it's approved, copy your Registrar API token.

Open Atom API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Atom.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Atom personal” or “Atom clients”. Connect each Atom account separately.
  3. 3Paste your registrar api token.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
  • Nameservers
  • Transfer lock
  • WHOIS privacy
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Atom: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Atom rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Atom account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Atom portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Atom credentials at all.

Open your Atom dashboard

  1. 1Open your Atom account at atom.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Atom domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Atom offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Atom personal" or "Atom client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.

Atom tokens can't be limited to read-only. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain list, and you can revoke the token in Atom at any time.

Do I need to share my Atom password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Atom, not your password. Atom tokens can't be limited to read-only. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain list, and you can revoke the token in Atom at any time. Keys are encrypted at rest. Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple Atom accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Atom account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

No. Renewal still happens at Atom. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Atom.
