regfish MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial regfish MCP server. Connect your regfish account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your regfish domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my regfish domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at regfish?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my regfish domains this week?”

Connect regfish to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at regfish, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many regfish accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at regfish
A regfish API key with only the domain:read permission. It can list your domains and change nothing, not even DNS records.
- 1Sign in to the regfish dash and open Account → Security → API keys.
- 2Create a new key named “Lemon Domains” and give it only the domain:read permission.
- 3Copy the key. It is only shown once.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose regfish.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “regfish personal” or “regfish clients”. Connect each regfish account separately.
- 3Paste your api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to regfish: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- regfish rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the regfish account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the regfish portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no regfish credentials at all.
- 1Open your regfish account at regfish.de and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every regfish domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if regfish offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "regfish personal" or "regfish client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
