Netim MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Netim MCP server. Connect your Netim account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Netim domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Netim domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Netim?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Netim domains this week?”

Connect Netim to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Netim, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Netim accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Netim

Give it the least access you can

Netim has one API secret per reseller account with full access; it cannot be limited to reading. Lemon Domains only ever opens a session and lists your domains.

Who can use the API

The Netim API is part of a Netim reseller account, which is free to open.

  1. 1Sign in to your Netim reseller account and open the API section of your account settings.
  2. 2Set or copy the API secret (API password) for the live API.
  3. 3Enter your reseller ID and that secret in Lemon Domains.

Open Netim API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Netim.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Netim personal” or “Netim clients”. Connect each Netim account separately.
  3. 3Paste your reseller id and api secret.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Netim: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Netim rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Netim account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Netim portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Netim credentials at all.

Open my Netim account

  1. 1Open your Netim account at netim.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Netim domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Netim offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Netim personal" or "Netim client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lemon Domains support Netim domains?

Yes. Connect your Netim account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. The Netim API is part of a Netim reseller account, which is free to open. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Netim dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Netim accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How do I get a Netim API key?

Lemon Domains only ever opens a session and lists your domains.

Do I need to share my Netim password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Netim, not your password. Netim has one API secret per reseller account with full access; it cannot be limited to reading. Lemon Domains only ever opens a session and lists your domains. Keys are encrypted at rest. Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple Netim accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Netim account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Netim domains?

No. Renewal still happens at Netim. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Netim.

Can AI assistants query my Netim domains?
