Loopia MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial Loopia MCP server. Connect your Loopia account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Loopia domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my Loopia domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Loopia?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my Loopia domains this week?”

Connect Loopia to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at Loopia, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Loopia accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at Loopia
A LoopiaAPI user with only the getDomains permission. It can list your domains and nothing else.
- 1Sign in to Loopia Customer Zone and open Account settings → LoopiaAPI.
- 2Create a new API user (for example “lemon”) and set a password for it.
- 3Under the user's permissions, tick only getDomains and save.
- 4Enter the full API user name (it ends in @loopiaapi) and its password in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Loopia.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Loopia personal” or “Loopia clients”. Connect each Loopia account separately.
- 3Paste your api user and api password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Loopia: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Loopia rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the Loopia account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Loopia portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Loopia credentials at all.
Open your Loopia Customer Zone
- 1Open your Loopia account at loopia.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Loopia domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Loopia offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Loopia personal" or "Loopia client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
