Joker.com MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Joker.com MCP server. Connect your Joker.com account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Joker.com domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Joker.com domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Joker.com?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Joker.com domains this week?”

Transferring a domain away from Joker.com

In My Domains, choose Modify for the domain, turn off domain protection and request the AUTH-ID. Only the domain's owner can do this, not users with an Admin role.

Give the code to the new registrar to start the transfer. Most extensions can't move within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer. Joker.com's guide

Connect Joker.com to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Joker.com, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Joker.com accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Joker.com

Give it the least access you can

A read-only DMAPI API key. Joker.com lets each key carry its own access level, and a read-only key can list your domains but change nothing.

  1. 1Sign in to Joker.com and open the API key settings of your account.
  2. 2Create a new DMAPI key named “Lemon Domains” and choose read-only access.
  3. 3If you limit the key to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
  4. 4Copy the key.

Open Joker.com API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Joker.com.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Joker.com personal” or “Joker.com clients”. Connect each Joker.com account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
  • Transfer lock
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Joker.com: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Joker.com rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Joker.com account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Joker.com portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Joker.com credentials at all.

Open your Joker.com account

  1. 1Open your Joker.com account at joker.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Joker.com domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Joker.com offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Joker.com personal" or "Joker.com client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
