Dinahosting MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial Dinahosting MCP server. Connect your Dinahosting account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Dinahosting domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my Dinahosting domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Dinahosting?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my Dinahosting domains this week?”

Connect Dinahosting to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at Dinahosting, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Dinahosting accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at Dinahosting
Dinahosting's API uses your panel username and password, so it cannot be limited to read-only: whoever holds them can manage the whole account. Lemon Domains only calls Services_GetDomains. Change the password if you stop using Lemon Domains.
- 1Sign in to the Dinahosting panel and make sure API access is turned on for your account (see dinahosting.com/api).
- 2If you limit the key to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
- 3Enter your Dinahosting username and password in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Dinahosting.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Dinahosting personal” or “Dinahosting clients”. Connect each Dinahosting account separately.
- 3Paste your username and password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Dinahosting: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Dinahosting rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the Dinahosting account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Dinahosting portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Dinahosting credentials at all.
- 1Open your Dinahosting account at dinahosting.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Dinahosting domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Dinahosting offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Dinahosting personal" or "Dinahosting client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
