Zone.ee MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial Zone.ee MCP server. Connect your Zone.ee account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Zone.ee domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my Zone.ee domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Zone.ee?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my Zone.ee domains this week?”

Connect Zone.ee to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at Zone.ee, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Zone.ee accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at Zone.ee
Zone API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a key can use the whole API for its ZoneID. Create a key just for Lemon Domains with an expiry date so you can delete it on its own. Lemon Domains only ever reads the domain list.
- 1Sign in to My Zone and open Settings (top right) → Security → API keys.
- 2Add a key with the comment “Lemon Domains” and choose how long it should stay valid (three years by default).
- 3Copy the key straight away; it is only shown once. Enter it in Lemon Domains with your ZoneID username.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Zone.ee.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Zone.ee personal” or “Zone.ee clients”. Connect each Zone.ee account separately.
- 3Paste your zoneid username and api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Zone.ee: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Zone.ee rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the Zone.ee account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Zone.ee portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Zone.ee credentials at all.
- 1Open your Zone.ee account at zone.ee and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Zone.ee domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Zone.ee offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Zone.ee personal" or "Zone.ee client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
