Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my Simply.com domains expire in the next 60 days?”

Connect Simply.com to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at Simply.com, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Simply.com accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at Simply.com
Simply.com API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a key has full access to the account's API. Lemon Domains only ever lists products and reads nameservers. If your key leaks, generate a new one in the control panel to revoke it.
- 1Sign in to the Simply.com control panel and open Account → API.
- 2Turn on API access and copy the API key (create one if there is none).
- 3Enter the key in Lemon Domains with your account number (it starts with S, e.g. S123456).
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Simply.com.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Simply.com personal” or “Simply.com clients”. Connect each Simply.com account separately.
- 3Paste your account number and api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Nameservers
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Simply.com: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Simply.com rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the Simply.com account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Simply.com portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Simply.com credentials at all.
Open your Simply.com control panel
- 1Open your Simply.com account at simply.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Simply.com domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Simply.com offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Simply.com personal" or "Simply.com client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
