Octenium MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial Octenium MCP server. Connect your Octenium account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Octenium domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my Octenium domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Octenium?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my Octenium domains this week?”

Connect Octenium to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at Octenium, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Octenium accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at Octenium
Octenium API keys work for the whole account. Create a key just for Lemon Domains so you can revoke it on its own; Lemon Domains only ever reads the domain list with it.
- 1Sign in to the Octenium client panel and open the API section of your account.
- 2Create an API key, name it “Lemon Domains”, and copy it.
- 3If you limit the key to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
- 4Paste the key into the field in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Octenium.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Octenium personal” or “Octenium clients”. Connect each Octenium account separately.
- 3Paste your api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Octenium: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Octenium rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the Octenium account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Octenium portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Octenium credentials at all.
- 1Open your Octenium account at octenium.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Octenium domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Octenium offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Octenium personal" or "Octenium client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
