Mythic Beasts MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Mythic Beasts MCP server. Connect your Mythic Beasts account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Mythic Beasts domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Mythic Beasts domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Mythic Beasts?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Mythic Beasts domains this week?”

Connect Mythic Beasts to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Mythic Beasts, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Mythic Beasts accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Mythic Beasts

Give it the least access you can

A Mythic Beasts API key limited to the domains you choose, with the narrowest permissions the control panel offers. Lemon Domains only ever lists those domains and reads each one's status and expiry.

  1. 1Sign in to the Mythic Beasts control panel and open the API keys page.
  2. 2Create a new key named “Lemon Domains” and give it access to the domains you want to see, with the narrowest permissions offered.
  3. 3Copy the key ID and secret. The secret is only shown once.

Open Mythic Beasts API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Mythic Beasts.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Mythic Beasts personal” or “Mythic Beasts clients”. Connect each Mythic Beasts account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key id and api key secret.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Transfer lock
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Mythic Beasts: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Mythic Beasts rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Mythic Beasts account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Mythic Beasts portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Mythic Beasts credentials at all.

Open the Mythic Beasts control panel

  1. 1Open your Mythic Beasts account at mythic-beasts.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Mythic Beasts domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Mythic Beasts offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Mythic Beasts personal" or "Mythic Beasts client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
