Hostinger MCP

Lemon Domains is the unofficial Hostinger MCP server. Connect your Hostinger account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your Hostinger domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.

  • “Which of my Hostinger domains expire in the next 60 days?”
  • “Is auto-renew on for every domain at Hostinger?”
  • “Did the nameservers change on any of my Hostinger domains this week?”

Connect Hostinger to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Hostinger, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Hostinger accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Hostinger

Give it the least access you can

Hostinger tokens cannot be limited to read-only: they have the same permissions as your account. Create a separate token just for Lemon Domains, give it an expiry, and revoke it when you no longer need it.

  1. 1Sign in to hPanel and open Profile → API.
  2. 2Create a new token named “Lemon Domains” and set an expiry date if you want it to lapse on its own.
  3. 3Copy the token. Hostinger only shows it once.

Open Hostinger API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Hostinger.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Hostinger personal” or “Hostinger clients”. Connect each Hostinger account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api token.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Nameservers
  • Transfer lock
  • WHOIS privacy
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Hostinger: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Hostinger rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Hostinger account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Hostinger portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no Hostinger credentials at all.

Open your Hostinger domains

  1. 1Open your Hostinger account at hostinger.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Hostinger domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Hostinger offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Hostinger personal" or "Hostinger client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lemon Domains support Hostinger domains?

Yes. Connect your Hostinger account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Hostinger dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Hostinger accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How do I get a Hostinger API key?

Sign in to hPanel and open Profile → API. Create a new token named “Lemon Domains” and set an expiry date if you want it to lapse on its own. Copy the token. Hostinger only shows it once. Hostinger tokens cannot be limited to read-only: they have the same permissions as your account. Create a separate token just for Lemon Domains, give it an expiry, and revoke it when you no longer need it.

Do I need to share my Hostinger password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Hostinger, not your password. Hostinger tokens cannot be limited to read-only: they have the same permissions as your account. Create a separate token just for Lemon Domains, give it an expiry, and revoke it when you no longer need it. Keys are encrypted at rest. Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple Hostinger accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Hostinger account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Hostinger domains?

No. Renewal still happens at Hostinger. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Hostinger.

Can AI assistants query my Hostinger domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and any MCP client query your full portfolio, including Hostinger domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.

Is Hostinger ICANN-accredited?

Yes. Hostinger is on the ICANN list of accredited registrars, so it can register generic extensions such as .com directly with the registries.

What is Hostinger's IANA ID?

1636. The IANA registrar ID appears in the registrar field of a domain's public record, so it shows which registrar a domain is with.

What other names does Hostinger operate under?

Its accreditations are also held as HOSTINGER operations, UAB. Domains registered through any of them can show those names as the registrar.

Is there an MCP server for Hostinger domains?

Yes. Lemon Domains connects to Hostinger by API and serves your Hostinger domains through its remote MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client can answer questions about them. It is independent of Hostinger and not affiliated with it, so the same connection also covers your domains at every other registrar.

Does Hostinger have an API?

Yes. Lemon Domains connects to Hostinger by API and syncs your domain list every day, with expiry dates and renewal settings. Your AI assistant can then answer questions about those domains through the Lemon Domains MCP server.

What domain extensions does Hostinger sell?

Hostinger's price list has 420 extensions: 333 generic, 61 country-code and 26 second-level, as of October 2026. They include .com, .net, .org, .io, .ai, .co, .app, .dev, .xyz, .uk, .de and .eu. The full list is on this page.

Does Hostinger include WHOIS privacy?

Yes. Hostinger hides your contact details in the public record at no extra cost, for the extensions whose registry allows it. Some country-code extensions, such as .us, don't allow privacy at all.

How do I contact Hostinger support?

Hostinger offers support by live chat and help center (24/7). Its contact page is https://support.hostinger.com/.

What does Hostinger offer besides domain names?

DNS hosting, Email hosting, Web hosting, SSL certificates and Website builder.

What do customers say about Hostinger?

Hostinger has a TrustScore 4.5 out of 5 from about 73,000 reviews on Trustpilot, as of October 2026. Lemon Domains doesn't collect or edit reviews; read them on Trustpilot.

How do I transfer a domain away from Hostinger?

In hPanel, go to Domains and click Manage. Turn off the transfer lock in Domain Overview, then click the eye icon next to Authorization code. Then give the code to the new registrar to start the transfer.
