easyname MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial easyname MCP server. Connect your easyname account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your easyname domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my easyname domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at easyname?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my easyname domains this week?”

Connect easyname to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at easyname, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many easyname accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at easyname
easyname issues one API key per account, with the account's access. Lemon Domains only reads the domain list and never asks for the signing salt, which domain orders, transfers and nameserver changes must be signed with.
- 1Sign in to your easyname account and open the API page in your account settings.
- 2Activate API access if it is not active yet.
- 3Copy your user ID, the API key and the API authentication salt. The signing salt is not needed.
- 4Enter them in Lemon Domains with the email address of your easyname account.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose easyname.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “easyname personal” or “easyname clients”. Connect each easyname account separately.
- 3Paste your user id, email address, api key and authentication salt.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Nameservers
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to easyname: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- easyname rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the easyname account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the easyname portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no easyname credentials at all.
- 1Open your easyname account at easyname.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every easyname domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if easyname offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "easyname personal" or "easyname client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
