PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) MCP
Lemon Domains is the unofficial PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) MCP server. Connect your PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) account by API once, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can answer questions about your PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) domains next to the domains you hold at every other registrar. Connections start read only, so your AI changes only what you allow.
- “Which of my PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) domains expire in the next 60 days?”
- “Is auto-renew on for every domain at PublicDomainRegistry (PDR)?”
- “Did the nameservers change on any of my PublicDomainRegistry (PDR) domains this week?”

Connect PublicDomainRegistry to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at PublicDomainRegistry, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many PublicDomainRegistry accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at PublicDomainRegistry
LogicBoxes API keys are not scoped, so the key can do anything your reseller account can. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain search, which reads your domain orders, and the key only works from the IP addresses you whitelist.
A PublicDomainRegistry reseller account. Customers who buy domains from a reseller have no API key of their own; add those domains by import instead.
- 1Sign in to your PublicDomainRegistry control panel (the link at the end of these steps). Use your live account: demo account IDs and keys do not work in Lemon Domains.
- 2Click the profile icon at the top right and choose Manage Profile. Copy the first field, Reseller ID (a number), into Reseller ID in Lemon Domains.
- 3Open Settings → API and click View API key. Copy the key into API key in Lemon Domains. Do not click Regenerate if another service already uses this key: a new key stops the old one at once.
- 4On the same page, under Whitelist your IP Addresses, add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page and click Save. Enter the single address, not a range. The panel holds up to 3 addresses; if they are all taken, remove one you no longer use or ask support to add more.
- 5Tick the checkbox and click Test connection. If the test says the IP is not authorised or the key is invalid, wait a few minutes and test again: a new whitelist entry or key can take a little while to start working.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose PublicDomainRegistry.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “PublicDomainRegistry personal” or “PublicDomainRegistry clients”. Connect each PublicDomainRegistry account separately.
- 3Paste your reseller id and api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Transfer lock
- WHOIS privacy
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to PublicDomainRegistry: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- PublicDomainRegistry rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- PublicDomainRegistry rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at PublicDomainRegistry.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the PublicDomainRegistry account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the PublicDomainRegistry portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh. Paste or CSV import needs no PublicDomainRegistry credentials at all.
- 1Open your PublicDomainRegistry account at publicdomainregistry.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every PublicDomainRegistry domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if PublicDomainRegistry offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "PublicDomainRegistry personal" or "PublicDomainRegistry client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
