Connect Websupport to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Websupport, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Websupport accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Websupport

Give it the least access you can

Websupport API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a Standard key can manage the whole account. Create a key just for Lemon Domains so you can delete it on its own. Lemon Domains only ever reads the service list.

  1. 1Sign in to Websupport WebAdmin and open Security → API keys.
  2. 2Generate a new Standard API key (a DynDNS key only updates records) and name it “Lemon Domains”.
  3. 3Copy the identifier and the secret. The secret is only shown once.

Open Websupport API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Websupport.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Websupport personal” or “Websupport clients”. Connect each Websupport account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key (identifier) and secret.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Websupport: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Websupport rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Websupport account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Websupport portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.

Open your Websupport WebAdmin

  1. 1Open your Websupport account at websupport.sk and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Websupport domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Websupport offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Websupport personal" or "Websupport client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
Heads up
  • Paste or CSV import needs no Websupport credentials at all.
  • Websupport sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per Websupport account with its own label.

How Websupport fits into Lemon Domains

Pulled into one dashboard

Every Websupport domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.

Expiry tracking, finally

Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every Websupport domain so you stop missing renewals.

Daily sync by API

Connect Websupport with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.

Why Lemon Domains beats the Websupport dashboard

  • Every Websupport domain in one sortable list, no pagination
  • Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
  • Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
  • Multiple Websupport accounts with friendly labels, side by side
  • Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
  • Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
  • MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer Websupport portfolio questions

Ask your AI assistant about your Websupport domains

Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What Websupport domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.

Websupport + Lemon Domains FAQ

Does Lemon Domains support Websupport domains?

Yes. Connect your Websupport account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Websupport dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Websupport accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How is this different from the Websupport dashboard?

Websupport is an established registrar, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every Websupport domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies Websupport with every other registrar you use.

Do I need to share my Websupport password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Websupport, not your password. Websupport API keys cannot be limited to read-only; a Standard key can manage the whole account. Create a key just for Lemon Domains so you can delete it on its own. Lemon Domains only ever reads the service list. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple Websupport accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Websupport account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Websupport domains?

No. Renewal still happens at Websupport. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Websupport.

Can AI assistants query my Websupport domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including Websupport domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
