Connect united-domains Reselling to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at united-domains Reselling, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many united-domains Reselling accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at united-domains Reselling
united-domains Reselling has one login per account and no read-only variant. Lemon Domains only ever sends QueryDomainList with it.
API access comes with a united-domains Reselling account.
- 1Use the login (user ID) and password of your united-domains Reselling account.
- 2If you limit the key to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
- 3Enter both in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose united-domains Reselling.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “united-domains Reselling personal” or “united-domains Reselling clients”. Connect each united-domains Reselling account separately.
- 3Paste your login and password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Nameservers
- Transfer lock
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to united-domains Reselling: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- united-domains Reselling rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the united-domains Reselling account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the united-domains Reselling portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
- 1Open your united-domains Reselling account at ud-reselling.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every united-domains Reselling domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if united-domains Reselling offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "united-domains Reselling personal" or "united-domains Reselling client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
- Paste or CSV import needs no united-domains Reselling credentials at all.
- united-domains Reselling sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per united-domains Reselling account with its own label.
