Connect Synergy Wholesale to Lemon Domains

Create a read-only API key at Synergy Wholesale
Synergy Wholesale has one API key per reseller account, limited to the IP addresses you whitelist. Lemon Domains only ever calls listDomains with it.
Synergy Wholesale is a wholesale registrar for resellers; any reseller account can use the API.
- 1Sign in to the Synergy Wholesale management console and open Settings → API Information.
- 2Add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page to the API IP whitelist and save.
- 3Copy the Reseller ID and API key into the fields in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Synergy Wholesale.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Synergy Wholesale personal” or “Synergy Wholesale clients”. Connect each Synergy Wholesale account separately.
- 3Paste your reseller id and api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Nameservers
- WHOIS privacy
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Synergy Wholesale: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Synergy Wholesale rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- Synergy Wholesale rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at Synergy Wholesale.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the Synergy Wholesale account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Synergy Wholesale portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
