Connect SchlundTech to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at SchlundTech, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many SchlundTech accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at SchlundTech
A SchlundTech (AutoDNS) sub-user whose only permitted task is Domain Inquire. It can read your domains and change nothing.
SchlundTech is a registrar for resellers and hosting businesses; API access comes with a SchlundTech account.
- 1Sign in to the SchlundTech interface with your main user and open user management.
- 2Create a sub-user named “lemon-domains” with a strong password and without two-factor authentication.
- 3Give the sub-user only the right to view domains (Domain Inquire, task 0105) and leave out every task that changes something.
- 4If you limit the user to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
- 5Enter the sub-user's name and password in Lemon Domains. Leave the context blank unless SchlundTech gave you your own.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose SchlundTech.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “SchlundTech personal” or “SchlundTech clients”. Connect each SchlundTech account separately.
- 3Paste your user name and password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Nameservers
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to SchlundTech: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- SchlundTech rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the SchlundTech account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the SchlundTech portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
- 1Open your SchlundTech account at schlundtech.de and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every SchlundTech domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if SchlundTech offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "SchlundTech personal" or "SchlundTech client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
- Paste or CSV import needs no SchlundTech credentials at all.
- SchlundTech sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per SchlundTech account with its own label.

If you would rather not, paste or CSV import needs no credentials at all.
