Connect Sav.com to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at Sav.com, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Sav.com accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at Sav.com

Give it the least access you can

Sav API keys are not scoped, and each key only works from the IP addresses Sav whitelisted for it. Lemon Domains only ever calls get_active_domains_in_account, which lists your domains.

Who can use the API

Sav issues API keys through its support team for any account holder who asks.

  1. 1Sign in to Sav and open a support ticket asking for API access.
  2. 2In the ticket, ask Sav to whitelist the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page, and include your account email and the last four digits of your payment card (or your PayPal email) so Sav can verify you.
  3. 3Sav support replies with your API key. Paste it in Lemon Domains.

Open Sav.com API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Sav.com.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Sav.com personal” or “Sav.com clients”. Connect each Sav.com account separately.
  3. 3Paste your api key.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
  • Nameservers
  • WHOIS privacy
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Sav.com: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Sav.com rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
Sav.com rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at Sav.com.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the Sav.com account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Sav.com portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.

Open your Sav.com domain list

  1. 1Open your Sav.com account at sav.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Sav.com domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Sav.com offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Sav.com personal" or "Sav.com client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
Heads up
  • Paste or CSV import needs no Sav.com credentials at all.
  • Sav.com sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per Sav.com account with its own label.

How Sav.com fits into Lemon Domains

Pulled into one dashboard

Every Sav.com domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.

Expiry tracking, finally

Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every Sav.com domain so you stop missing renewals.

Daily sync by API

Connect Sav.com with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.

Why Lemon Domains beats the Sav.com dashboard

  • Every Sav.com domain in one sortable list, no pagination
  • Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
  • Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
  • Multiple Sav.com accounts with friendly labels, side by side
  • Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
  • Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
  • MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer Sav.com portfolio questions

Ask your AI assistant about your Sav.com domains

Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What Sav.com domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.

Sav.com + Lemon Domains FAQ

Does Lemon Domains support Sav.com domains?

Yes. Connect your Sav.com account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. Sav issues API keys through its support team for any account holder who asks. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Sav.com dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Sav.com accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How is this different from the Sav.com dashboard?

Sav.com has been registering domains since 2008 with around 1 million domains under management, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every Sav.com domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies Sav.com with every other registrar you use.

Do I need to share my Sav.com password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Sav.com, not your password. Sav API keys are not scoped, and each key only works from the IP addresses Sav whitelisted for it. Lemon Domains only ever calls get_active_domains_in_account, which lists your domains. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple Sav.com accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Sav.com account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Sav.com domains?

No. Renewal still happens at Sav.com. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Sav.com.

Can AI assistants query my Sav.com domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including Sav.com domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
