Connect Loopia to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API login at Loopia, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Loopia accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API login at Loopia
A LoopiaAPI user with only the getDomains permission. It can list your domains and nothing else.
- 1Sign in to Loopia Customer Zone and open Account settings → LoopiaAPI.
- 2Create a new API user (for example “lemon”) and set a password for it.
- 3Under the user's permissions, tick only getDomains and save.
- 4Enter the full API user name (it ends in @loopiaapi) and its password in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Loopia.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Loopia personal” or “Loopia clients”. Connect each Loopia account separately.
- 3Paste your api user and api password.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Loopia: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Loopia rejects the API login
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
- The key has an IP restriction
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API login belongs to the Loopia account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Loopia portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
Open your Loopia Customer Zone
- 1Open your Loopia account at loopia.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Loopia domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Loopia offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Loopia personal" or "Loopia client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
- Paste or CSV import needs no Loopia credentials at all.
- Loopia sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per Loopia account with its own label.
How Loopia fits into Lemon Domains
Pulled into one dashboard
Every Loopia domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.
Expiry tracking, finally
Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every Loopia domain so you stop missing renewals.
Daily sync by API
Connect Loopia with its API login and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.
Why Lemon Domains beats the Loopia dashboard
- Every Loopia domain in one sortable list, no pagination
- Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
- Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
- Multiple Loopia accounts with friendly labels, side by side
- Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
- Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
- MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer Loopia portfolio questions
Ask your AI assistant about your Loopia domains
Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What Loopia domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.
Loopia + Lemon Domains FAQ
Does Lemon Domains support Loopia domains?
Yes. Connect your Loopia account with its API login and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Loopia dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Loopia accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.
How is this different from the Loopia dashboard?
Loopia is an established registrar, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every Loopia domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies Loopia with every other registrar you use.
Do I need to share my Loopia password?
Only if you connect by API. Loopia's API signs in with a username and password rather than an API key. A LoopiaAPI user with only the getDomains permission. It can list your domains and nothing else. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. If you would rather not, paste or CSV import needs no credentials at all.
Can I track multiple Loopia accounts?
Yes. Add one connection per Loopia account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.
Does Lemon Domains renew my Loopia domains?
No. Renewal still happens at Loopia. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Loopia.
Can AI assistants query my Loopia domains?
Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including Loopia domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
