Connect LogicBoxes (OrderBox) to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at LogicBoxes (OrderBox), add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many LogicBoxes (OrderBox) accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at LogicBoxes (OrderBox)

Give it the least access you can

LogicBoxes API keys are not scoped, so the key can do anything your reseller account can. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain search, which reads your domain orders, and the key only works from the IP addresses you whitelist.

Who can use the API

A reseller account on LogicBoxes or any brand built on it (OrderBox). Pick this when your provider's control panel has Settings → API with a reseller ID and API key. Customers who buy domains from a reseller have no API key of their own; add those domains by import instead.

  1. 1Sign in to your LogicBoxes (OrderBox) control panel (the link at the end of these steps). Use your live account: demo account IDs and keys do not work in Lemon Domains.
  2. 2Click the profile icon at the top right and choose Manage Profile. Copy the first field, Reseller ID (a number), into Reseller ID in Lemon Domains.
  3. 3Open Settings → API and click View API key. Copy the key into API key in Lemon Domains. Do not click Regenerate if another service already uses this key: a new key stops the old one at once.
  4. 4On the same page, under Whitelist your IP Addresses, add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page and click Save. Enter the single address, not a range. The panel holds up to 3 addresses; if they are all taken, remove one you no longer use or ask support to add more.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox and click Test connection. If the test says the IP is not authorised or the key is invalid, wait a few minutes and test again: a new whitelist entry or key can take a little while to start working.

Open LogicBoxes (OrderBox) API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose LogicBoxes (OrderBox).
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “LogicBoxes (OrderBox) personal” or “LogicBoxes (OrderBox) clients”. Connect each LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account separately.
  3. 3Paste your reseller id and api key.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
  • Transfer lock
  • WHOIS privacy
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to LogicBoxes (OrderBox): each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

LogicBoxes (OrderBox) rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
LogicBoxes (OrderBox) rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at LogicBoxes (OrderBox).
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the LogicBoxes (OrderBox) portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.

Open your LogicBoxes control panel

  1. 1Open your LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account at logicboxes.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if LogicBoxes (OrderBox) offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "LogicBoxes (OrderBox) personal" or "LogicBoxes (OrderBox) client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
Heads up
  • Paste or CSV import needs no LogicBoxes (OrderBox) credentials at all.
  • LogicBoxes (OrderBox) sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account with its own label.

LogicBoxes (OrderBox) + Lemon Domains FAQ

Does Lemon Domains support LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domains?

Yes. Connect your LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. A reseller account on LogicBoxes or any brand built on it (OrderBox). Pick this when your provider's control panel has Settings → API with a reseller ID and API key. Customers who buy domains from a reseller have no API key of their own; add those domains by import instead. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the LogicBoxes (OrderBox) dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple LogicBoxes (OrderBox) accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How is this different from the LogicBoxes (OrderBox) dashboard?

LogicBoxes (OrderBox) is an established registrar, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies LogicBoxes (OrderBox) with every other registrar you use.

Do I need to share my LogicBoxes (OrderBox) password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at LogicBoxes (OrderBox), not your password. LogicBoxes API keys are not scoped, so the key can do anything your reseller account can. Lemon Domains only ever calls the domain search, which reads your domain orders, and the key only works from the IP addresses you whitelist. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple LogicBoxes (OrderBox) accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per LogicBoxes (OrderBox) account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domains?

No. Renewal still happens at LogicBoxes (OrderBox). Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at LogicBoxes (OrderBox).

Can AI assistants query my LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including LogicBoxes (OrderBox) domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
