Connect GleSYS to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at GleSYS, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many GleSYS accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at GleSYS
A permanent GleSYS API key whose only allowed function is domain/list. It can list your domains and nothing else.
- 1Sign in to the GleSYS control panel and open the project that holds your domains.
- 2Go to API keys and create a new key with a description like “Lemon Domains”.
- 3Under allowed hosts, add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page.
- 4Under permissions, allow only the domain/list function, then save.
- 5Copy the API key and enter it in Lemon Domains with the project ID (CLxxxxx).
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose GleSYS.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “GleSYS personal” or “GleSYS clients”. Connect each GleSYS account separately.
- 3Paste your project id and api key.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to GleSYS: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- GleSYS rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- GleSYS rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at GleSYS.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the GleSYS account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the GleSYS portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
Open your GleSYS control panel
- 1Open your GleSYS account at glesys.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every GleSYS domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if GleSYS offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "GleSYS personal" or "GleSYS client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
- Paste or CSV import needs no GleSYS credentials at all.
- GleSYS sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per GleSYS account with its own label.
How GleSYS fits into Lemon Domains
Pulled into one dashboard
Every GleSYS domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.
Expiry tracking, finally
Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every GleSYS domain so you stop missing renewals.
Daily sync by API
Connect GleSYS with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.
Why Lemon Domains beats the GleSYS dashboard
- Every GleSYS domain in one sortable list, no pagination
- Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
- Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
- Multiple GleSYS accounts with friendly labels, side by side
- Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
- Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
- MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer GleSYS portfolio questions
Ask your AI assistant about your GleSYS domains
Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What GleSYS domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.
GleSYS + Lemon Domains FAQ
Does Lemon Domains support GleSYS domains?
Yes. Connect your GleSYS account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the GleSYS dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple GleSYS accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.
How is this different from the GleSYS dashboard?
GleSYS has been registering domains since 1999, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every GleSYS domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies GleSYS with every other registrar you use.
Do I need to share my GleSYS password?
No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at GleSYS, not your password. A permanent GleSYS API key whose only allowed function is domain/list. It can list your domains and nothing else. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.
Can I track multiple GleSYS accounts?
Yes. Add one connection per GleSYS account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.
Does Lemon Domains renew my GleSYS domains?
No. Renewal still happens at GleSYS. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at GleSYS.
Can AI assistants query my GleSYS domains?
Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including GleSYS domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
