Connect Epik to Lemon Domains
Three steps: create a read-only API key at Epik, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Epik accounts as you have.
Create a read-only API key at Epik
Epik has one API signature per account, limited to the IP addresses you list. Lemon Domains only ever reads your domain list with it.
Any Epik account can use the API once an IP address is added in API Settings.
- 1Sign in to Epik and open Profile → API Settings.
- 2Add the Lemon Domains IP address shown on this page to the allowed IP addresses and save.
- 3Copy the API signature that appears and paste it in Lemon Domains.
Add it to Lemon Domains
- 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Epik.
- 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Epik personal” or “Epik clients”. Connect each Epik account separately.
- 3Paste your api signature.
- 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
- 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
What Lemon Domains reads
- Domain names (including internationalised names)
- Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
- Expiry and registration dates
- Whether auto-renew is on
- Nameservers
- Transfer lock
Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Epik: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
If something goes wrong
- Epik rejects the API key
- Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
- Epik rejects calls from Lemon Domains' IP address
- Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs at Epik.
- Some domains are missing
- Make sure the API key belongs to the Epik account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.
Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV
Copy your list from the Epik portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.
- 1Open your Epik account at epik.com and go to the domain list.
- 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Epik domain is visible.
- 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Epik offers it from the account area.
- 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
- 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Epik personal" or "Epik client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
- Paste or CSV import needs no Epik credentials at all.
- Epik sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per Epik account with its own label.
How Epik fits into Lemon Domains
Pulled into one dashboard
Every Epik domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.
Expiry tracking, finally
Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every Epik domain so you stop missing renewals.
Daily sync by API
Connect Epik with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.
Why Lemon Domains beats the Epik dashboard
- Every Epik domain in one sortable list, no pagination
- Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
- Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
- Multiple Epik accounts with friendly labels, side by side
- Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
- Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
- MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer Epik portfolio questions
Ask your AI assistant about your Epik domains
Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What Epik domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.
Epik + Lemon Domains FAQ
Does Lemon Domains support Epik domains?
Yes. Connect your Epik account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. Any Epik account can use the API once an IP address is added in API Settings. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Epik dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Epik accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.
How is this different from the Epik dashboard?
Epik has been registering domains since 2009, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every Epik domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies Epik with every other registrar you use.
Do I need to share my Epik password?
No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at Epik, not your password. Epik has one API signature per account, limited to the IP addresses you list. Lemon Domains only ever reads your domain list with it. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.
Can I track multiple Epik accounts?
Yes. Add one connection per Epik account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.
Does Lemon Domains renew my Epik domains?
No. Renewal still happens at Epik. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Epik.
Can AI assistants query my Epik domains?
Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including Epik domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
