Connect easyname to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API key at easyname, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many easyname accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API key at easyname

Give it the least access you can

easyname issues one API key per account, with the account's access. Lemon Domains only reads the domain list and never asks for the signing salt, which domain orders, transfers and nameserver changes must be signed with.

  1. 1Sign in to your easyname account and open the API page in your account settings.
  2. 2Activate API access if it is not active yet.
  3. 3Copy your user ID, the API key and the API authentication salt. The signing salt is not needed.
  4. 4Enter them in Lemon Domains with the email address of your easyname account.

Open easyname API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose easyname.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “easyname personal” or “easyname clients”. Connect each easyname account separately.
  3. 3Paste your user id, email address, api key and authentication salt.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API key and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Nameservers
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to easyname: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

easyname rejects the API key
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Some registrars only show the secret once, so create a new key if you didn't save it.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API key's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API key belongs to the easyname account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API key? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the easyname portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.

Open your easyname account

  1. 1Open your easyname account at easyname.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every easyname domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if easyname offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "easyname personal" or "easyname client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
Heads up
  • Paste or CSV import needs no easyname credentials at all.
  • easyname sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per easyname account with its own label.

How easyname fits into Lemon Domains

Pulled into one dashboard

Every easyname domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.

Expiry tracking, finally

Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every easyname domain so you stop missing renewals.

Daily sync by API

Connect easyname with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.

Why Lemon Domains beats the easyname dashboard

  • Every easyname domain in one sortable list, no pagination
  • Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
  • Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
  • Multiple easyname accounts with friendly labels, side by side
  • Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
  • Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
  • MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer easyname portfolio questions

Ask your AI assistant about your easyname domains

Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What easyname domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.

easyname + Lemon Domains FAQ

Does Lemon Domains support easyname domains?

Yes. Connect your easyname account with an API key and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the easyname dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple easyname accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How is this different from the easyname dashboard?

easyname is an established registrar, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every easyname domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies easyname with every other registrar you use.

Do I need to share my easyname password?

No. Connecting by API uses an API key you create at easyname, not your password. easyname issues one API key per account, with the account's access. Lemon Domains only reads the domain list and never asks for the signing salt, which domain orders, transfers and nameserver changes must be signed with. Keys are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. Or skip the API and paste your list or upload a CSV.

Can I track multiple easyname accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per easyname account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my easyname domains?

No. Renewal still happens at easyname. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at easyname.

Can AI assistants query my easyname domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including easyname domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
