Connect Beget to Lemon Domains

Three steps: create a read-only API login at Beget, add it to Lemon Domains, and your domains sync once a day from then on. Connect as many Beget accounts as you have.

Step 1

Create a read-only API login at Beget

Give it the least access you can

Beget's API password cannot be limited to read-only: it can use every API function on the account. Use a dedicated API password (not your panel password) and change it if you stop using Lemon Domains.

  1. 1Sign in to the Beget control panel and open the API section (Settings → API).
  2. 2Turn on API access and set an API password. Do not reuse your control panel password.
  3. 3If you limit the key to certain IP addresses, allow the Lemon Domains IP address shown on the connect page.
  4. 4Enter your account login and the API password in Lemon Domains.

Open Beget API settings

Step 2

Add it to Lemon Domains

  1. 1Sign in to Lemon Domains (it's free), open Connections and choose Beget.
  2. 2Give the connection a friendly name, like “Beget personal” or “Beget clients”. Connect each Beget account separately.
  3. 3Paste your account login and api password.
  4. 4Click Test connection. Lemon Domains checks the API login and shows how many domains it can see, without saving anything.
  5. 5Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the risks, pick the project new domains go into, and click Connect and import. Your domains appear straight away and sync once a day after that.
Step 3

What Lemon Domains reads

Synced once a day
  • Domain names (including internationalised names)
  • Status, such as active, expired or pending transfer
  • Expiry and registration dates
  • Whether auto-renew is on
Read-only by design

Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests to Beget: each integration has a fixed list of read-only calls it may make, so it never renews, transfers or changes a domain. Your API login is encrypted at rest and never shown again.

If something goes wrong

Beget rejects the API login
Copy it again with no spaces at either end. Check the login is the API user, not a different account.
The key has an IP restriction
Lemon Domains connects from 2.31.94.66. Add it to the API login's allowed IPs, or remove the restriction.
Some domains are missing
Make sure the API login belongs to the Beget account (or sub-account) that holds those domains. Connect each account separately.

Rather not use an API login? Import by paste or CSV

Copy your list from the Beget portal, paste it into Lemon Domains, and you're done. Re-import any time to refresh.

Open your Beget control panel

  1. 1Open your Beget account at beget.com and go to the domain list.
  2. 2If the list paginates, switch to "show all" or the largest page size so every Beget domain is visible.
  3. 3Copy the visible list, or export to CSV if Beget offers it from the account area.
  4. 4In Lemon Domains, click Import, paste the list or upload the CSV, and map the columns. Lemon Domains previews everything before it commits.
  5. 5Give the registrar account a friendly label (for example "Beget personal" or "Beget client work") so sub-accounts stay distinct.
Heads up
  • Paste or CSV import needs no Beget credentials at all.
  • Beget sub-accounts are supported. Add one Lemon Domains entry per Beget account with its own label.

How Beget fits into Lemon Domains

Pulled into one dashboard

Every Beget domain you own sits next to your domains from every other registrar. Same list, same search.

Expiry tracking, finally

Lemon Domains shows live expiry countdowns and filters by expiry window (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later) for every Beget domain so you stop missing renewals.

Daily sync by API

Connect Beget with its API login and Lemon Domains syncs your domains once a day. Hit Sync now whenever you want a fresh copy.

Why Lemon Domains beats the Beget dashboard

  • Every Beget domain in one sortable list, no pagination
  • Live expiry countdowns and 30 and 90 day expiry windows, not just a date column
  • Project folders for client work, brands, and experiments
  • Multiple Beget accounts with friendly labels, side by side
  • Daily sync by API, plus a Sync now button
  • Unified view with GoDaddy, Porkbun, Namecheap, and every other registrar
  • MCP server access so your AI assistant can answer Beget portfolio questions

Ask your AI assistant about your Beget domains

Connect the Lemon Domains MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client that can send a Bearer header. "What Beget domains do I have expiring this month?" becomes a one-line question.

Beget + Lemon Domains FAQ

Does Lemon Domains support Beget domains?

Yes. Connect your Beget account with its API login and Lemon Domains syncs your domains automatically once a day. You can also import by pasting your domain list from the Beget dashboard or uploading a CSV export. Multiple Beget accounts are supported with friendly labels so sub-accounts stay distinct in the unified portfolio.

How is this different from the Beget dashboard?

Beget is an established registrar, but its built-in dashboard is account-scoped and not designed for portfolio thinking. Lemon Domains puts every Beget domain into one searchable, sortable list, adds live expiry countdowns, expiry window filters (under 30 days, 31-90 days, later), and project folders, and unifies Beget with every other registrar you use.

Do I need to share my Beget password?

Only if you connect by API. Beget's API signs in with a username and password rather than an API key. Beget's API password cannot be limited to read-only: it can use every API function on the account. Use a dedicated API password (not your panel password) and change it if you stop using Lemon Domains. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and Lemon Domains only ever sends read requests. If you would rather not, paste or CSV import needs no credentials at all.

Can I track multiple Beget accounts?

Yes. Add one connection per Beget account, each with its own friendly name. Personal and business logins, sub-accounts, and client accounts all sit side by side in one dashboard.

Does Lemon Domains renew my Beget domains?

No. Renewal still happens at Beget. Lemon Domains tracks expiry dates and auto-renew status so you know exactly when to act, but the renewal button stays at Beget.

Can AI assistants query my Beget domains?

Yes. The Lemon Domains MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client that can send a Bearer header query your full portfolio, including Beget domains, in plain English. Choose read-only or read-and-write access for each token.
